We are only responsible for changing ourselves but we can set an example to the world by doing this and bring about the change we wish for

Who is Amanda?

Amanda is often described by her friends as passionate, kind, and motivated. She cherishes a good sunrise and enjoys walks outdoors in the autumn mist.

Amanda draws her energy from solitude in nature and the company of her close friends and loved ones. She lives in rural France with her two boys. Passionate about truth, health, and nature, Amanda is a yellow belt in karate, actively practising the Wado style and going for the black. She is training for a half marathon/sprint triathlon in 24/25.

She keeps chickens and bees and grows her vegetables, fruit, and nut trees. Equally, she enjoys a good green juice and bulletproof coffee.

This is what Amanda calls a traditional lifestyle. She also ‘practices what she preaches’ by following a primal diet (also known as paleo/ ancestral eating).

Amanda firmly believes in personal responsibility for health. While we can only change ourselves, by setting an example, we can inspire the change we wish to see in the world.

I’ve always been a nature girl with my feet in soil and my head in books, exploring the woods and devouring everything from Orwell to psychology texts and the classics. Initially, I followed the path to become a psychologist.

While studying psychology, I realised there was a gap: Why focus solely on the mind and neglect the body's needs? Why go through psychotherapy if your vitamin D and omega 3 deficiency, proven to cause depression, was not addressed? I changed course and pursued a degree in Human Biology alongside Psychology and Counselling,

After earning my BSc in 2015, I immersed myself in self-development, drawing inspiration from the teachings of Dr Gabor Mate, Eckhart Tolle, Adyashanti, Marshall Rosenberg, Byron Katie, and Prof. Jordan Peterson.

In 2022, I qualified as a Naturopathic Nutritionist at The College of Naturopathic Medicine. Early in 2024, I completed my postgraduate studies as a Naturopathic Practitioner (ND). Now, I'm training at The Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health in Integrative Oncology under Dr. Nasha Winters.People’s understanding of nutrition is changing. We truly are what we eat. With the right advice, nutrition and lifestyle, we can take control of our health. With a combination of blood tests, diagnostics, DNA methylation reports and consultations, I offer a powerful personalised nutrition solution. It’s the GOLD standard!

In a world full of conflicting information and corporate agendas, I bring a sense of clarity to my work. I don’t sugarcoat anything; I get straight to the point (with some humour, I hope!). My approach is no-nonsense, research-based, and highly personalised. I prioritise building meaningful relationships with my patients – it’s crucial to the healing journey.

If you're looking to optimise your health and longevity, book your DNA Methylation report and private consultation today, and let’s get that ball rolling!

  • Naturopaths are healthcare practitioners who specialise in naturopathic medicine. Focused on prevention, natural therapies, and holistic approaches to promote healing and wellness.

Trained in conventional medical sciences as well as natural and alternative therapies. Our goal is to treat the underlying causes of illness rather than just addressing symptoms, supporting the body's innate ability to heal itself.

Naturopathic practitioners use treatments such as nutrition, herbal medicine, acupuncture, lifestyle counselling, physical medicine, and homeopathy. Creating personalised plans to enhance physical, mental, and emotional health.

In Europe, Naturopathic Practitioners are regulated healthcare professionals who must meet specific educational and training requirements and adhere to standards of practice. I am a member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and regulated by them. I may work in private practice, integrative healthcare clinics or collaborate with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care for my patients.

  • We typically start by earning a bachelor’s degree that covers subjects such as biochemistry, biomedicine, nutritional pharmacology, supplements (orthomolecular nutrients), and diagnostic testing. This degree, offered by institutions like The College of Naturopathic Medicine, includes training in specific pathologies like arthritis and menopause and when combined with the postgraduate Naturopath course, takes about five years to complete.

To enrol in this program, applicants must already hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent Level 6 qualification in human biology.

Naturopaths are trained in various modalities, including iridology, traditional Chinese medicine, and bodywork. Often becoming a specialist in one area. Sadly, the industry is not as tightly regulated as the medical field, which means some people may call themselves naturopaths without extensive qualifications.

Top tip: Look for the post-nominal ND – it identifies those of us who have completed Level 6 and 7 studies (bachelor’s and master’s degrees) in naturopathy.

  • Nature provides the best medicine. Naturopathic nutrition emphasises this. It’s a powerful combination of biochemistry and nutrition with natural therapies and lifestyle changes. It uses natural and whole foods to support your body's ability to heal itself and maintain optimal health. Consuming whole, unprocessed foods is essential for feeling good and staying healthy.

Naturopathic nutritionists operate on the belief that the body is self-healing and, given the right conditions, will naturally return to health through a process called homeostasis. I work with clients to develop personalised health plans that address the whole person, not just the symptoms.

I take into consideration your lifestyle, your ethics, and your food preferences. Sometimes, supplements, herbs, and other natural therapies are recommended to correct imbalances and promote overall well-being.

  • After a thorough analysis of health and lifestyle, you will receive personalised recommendations ranging from a variety of treatments and modalities, including:

    Nutritional therapy

    Bodywork

    Iridology

    Herbal medicine

    Education

    Lifestyle counselling

    Physical medicine

We'll work together to find therapies and treatment plans that are realistic for you, addressing your physical and mental well-being.
